California based Impulse Space has secured a $300M Series C round, bringing its total funding to $525M as it races to meet rising demand for orbital transfer and in-space mobility services. The round was led by Linse Capital, with participation from DFJ Growth, Founders Fund, RTX Ventures, Lux Capital, and others.
The funding will accelerate production of Mira and Helios spacecraft, which already boast over 30 contracts valued near $200M, including agreements with DoD, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and SES. Notably, the SES deal will see Helios transfer satellites from LEO to GEO in under 8 hours starting in 2027.
The company will also invest in electric propulsion R&D, expand its Southern California and Colorado operations, and grow its workforce from ~250 to 350 employees.
With deep space and defense priorities shifting, Impulse is positioning itself as a key player in Moon, Mars, and military missions—backed by proven propulsion capabilities and a vertically integrated approach.
