Voyager Technologies Acquires ExoTerra

Voyager Technologies Acquires ExoTerra Resource LLC to Expand U.S. Propulsion Manufacturing Capability

Voyager Technologies announced the acquisition of ExoTerra Resource, a Colorado-based developer of electric propulsion systems for defense and commercial spacecraft. The deal strengthens Voyager’s in-house propulsion portfolio as demand grows for maneuverable, resilient spacecraft across national security and commercial missions.

ExoTerra’s flight-proven thruster technology supports precise orbit maneuvering and extended spacecraft lifetimes, and is already deployed on DARPA’s Blackjack ACES spacecraft and across 21 propulsion modules for the Space Development Agency’s Transport Layer via York Space Systems LLC.

The company also holds contracts with NASA and commercial satellite operators.

Voyager CEO Dylan Taylor said the acquisition supports the strategic need for domestically built and qualified propulsion systems as spacecraft mobility becomes central to deterrence and space control.

ExoTerra CEO Michael VanWoerkom emphasized that joining Voyager positions the technology for scaled production and accelerated delivery.

The acquisition adds to Voyager’s growing portfolio across defense space infrastructure and complements programs such as Starlab and emerging military space initiatives.
