Reditus Space Raises $7.1 Million

Reditus Space | YC W25 raises $7.1M to fast-track its first reusable microgravity research spacecraft for launch next summer.

Reditus Space, an Atlanta-based startup developing reusable spacecraft for microgravity research and in-space manufacturing, has closed a $7.1M seed round. Investors included Y Combinator, Antler, and a mix of other backers.

The capital will fund the company’s first full-scale demonstrator, ENOS, a reusable free-flying spacecraft with a 40 kg return-capable payload. The mission is scheduled for next summer on a SpaceX rideshare, returning via splashdown off the U.S. coast. Reditus says multiple (undisclosed) customers have already booked payload slots, largely in pharma, biotech, and advanced materials.

The company claims ENOS will be the largest commercial free-flyer ever recovered by mass and highlights speed of execution, going from seed to launch in ~15 months with a 13-person team. Reditus aims to reach full spacecraft reusability as early as 2027.

The startup enters a quickly growing field of reusable orbital platforms alongside Catalyx Space, Lux Aeterna, Varda Space, Inversion Space, and Atmos Space Cargo, all building vehicles for post-ISS microgravity demand. Reditus believes it can differentiate on spacecraft architecture, proprietary heat-shield materials, and mission cadence enabled by reusability.

An additional revenue stream will come from hypersonic reentry data collection. Reditus says it already has contracts with U.S. DoD stakeholders for Mach-28 reentry instrumentation.
