Louisiana-based drone data platform FlyGuys has raised $13M in Series A-1 funding, led by Kevin O'Leary’s Wonder Fund North Dakota, to power international expansion and scale its mission management software for drone-based data capture.
Often described as the Uber for drone pilots, FlyGuys connects over 16,000 FAA-certified pilots with enterprises that need high-volume, real-world data, spanning agriculture, energy, infrastructure, and beyond. It manages the full data capture workflow, from site access to final dataset delivery, all with a streamlined, API-connected platform that integrates directly into client systems.
“FlyGuys is creating the most scalable delivery platform for reality data on the market, an essential bridge between the physical world and the AI platforms shaping our future,” said Kevin O’Leary.
As AI models increasingly rely on geospatial and visual datasets, drones are becoming a key tool and FlyGuys is building the infrastructure to deliver it globally.
