Bulgarian space startup EnduroSat has raised $49M in fresh funding to scale production of its next-gen Gen3 Endurance satellites—larger, more powerful ESPA-class platforms designed for high-demand missions like Earth observation and broadband connectivity.
Led by Founders Fund, the round also saw participation from CEECAT Capital and Morphosis Capital.
The funds will fuel the buildout of a 17,500 sq m facility in Sofia, enabling EnduroSat to produce up to 60 satellites per month.
The Gen3 platform, weighing 200–500 kg and boasting 3.5 kW power and 2 Gbps downlink, is optimized for rapid integration and responsive space needs. Initial deliveries are slated for late 2025, with launches expected in early 2026.
EnduroSat is also expanding its U.S. presence, eyeing a new clean room to serve growing demand from American commercial and defense clients.
