Aerospacelab Secures €94M ($110M) Series B to Accelerate Satellite Megafactory and Strengthen Position in European Constellation Programs
Aerospacelab has closed an extended Series B funding round of €94M ($110M), bringing total venture capital raised to €134M.
The round is designed to support Aerospacelab’s ambitious industrial roadmap, accelerate the completion of its state-of-the-art Megafactory, and solidify its role in upcoming European constellation programs.
The Megafactory, currently under construction in Belgium, is set to become one of Europe’s most advanced satellite production sites, with the capacity to produce up to 500 satellites annually by 2027. Initial production is scheduled for 2026. The facility is central to Aerospacelab’s strategy of mass-manufacturing satellites at speed and scale, while verticalizing key subsystems to ensure cost efficiency, performance, and delivery reliability.
The company is also advancing in the competition for IRIS², Europe’s planned multi-orbit broadband constellation, where mass-manufacturing capacity, speed of delivery, and pricing competitiveness are expected to be key differentiators.
Named customers already include Xona Space Systems, Albedo, JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Mitsui Bussan Aerospace Corporation, European Space Agency - ESA, and European defense agencies.
