Voyager Technologies Wins $22.4 Million Contract for Satellite Deployment Systems

Telemetry Today—

Voyager Technologies has received a $22.4 million Department of War agreement to prototype flight-ready satellite dispensers designed to increase deployment opportunities for the U.S. Space Force.

Voyager Technologies has secured a $22.4 million Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) from the United States Department of War's Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) to develop next-generation satellite deployment systems.

The research and development program aims to transition the technology to the U.S. Space Force, providing new ways to deploy spacecraft into orbit more efficiently.

Under the agreement, Voyager will develop flight-ready small satellite dispensers designed to accommodate additional payloads on launches that would otherwise leave capacity unused. The systems aim to create new mission opportunities without interfering with a launch's primary objectives, allowing the military to deliver additional capabilities to orbit.

Voyager Space, Defense and National Security President Matt Magaña said the project is intended to accelerate the transition from concept to operational capability and give the Space Force additional options for deploying satellites.
