SWISSto12 has raised $70 million in a Series C funding round to expand production of its satellite platforms and payload technologies.
The announcement follows an additional ~$85 million in funding from European Space Agency - ESA member states to support development and in-orbit validation of the company's HummingSat platform.
The raise comes after a year of strong commercial growth, with SWISSto12 reporting $140 million in revenue for 2025 and more than $500 million in total contract value.
To date, the company has secured seven HummingSat contracts with satellite operators including SES and Viasat.
SWISSto12 has also expanded its HummingLink payload and antenna business into low Earth orbit constellation programs, with more than 2,000 HummingLink systems now operating across active space missions.
The new funding will be used to scale manufacturing and integration capacity as demand grows from both commercial and government customers.
CEO Emile de Rijk said the investment will accelerate SWISSto12's ability to meet growing demand across multiple satellite platforms and orbital regimes, while CFO Fredrik Gustavsson highlighted the company's rapid growth, citing a 110% compound annual growth rate since 2022.
