Alongside its broader Moon Base roadmap unveiled at Ignition earlier this year, NASA highlighted a growing group of commercial partners expected to help build the systems, mobility, logistics, and surface infrastructure needed for a sustained human presence on the Moon.
The latest Moon Base award winners include:
- Blue Origin
- Astrobotic
- Astrolab
- Lunar Outpost
- Firefly Aerospace
Blue Origin received landing awards supporting delivery missions for both Astrolab and Lunar Outpost systems to the lunar surface, while Firefly will support deployment of its Moonfall lunar drones as part of NASA’s expanding surface operations architecture.
On the mobility side, Astrolab’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) secured the crewed mobility award, positioning the company as a major player in future astronaut surface operations.
Lunar Outpost, meanwhile, was selected for the non-crewed mobility award, reinforcing its growing role in autonomous lunar logistics and robotic infrastructure.
The dollar value of the LTV awards were $220 Million each, and $234 Million for each Blue Origin landing mission.
